Inserting a Rectangular Object
Rectangular objects are used to bring a slide's background to life; they allow you to highlight copy, images or different areas of the slide. You can also use rectangular objects to simply represent a frame or for underlining.
Inserting a rectangular object
Click on the "Insert rectangle" button and you will see that the mouse cursor has changed into a rectangle. Place your mouse cursor in the upper left position. Now left click and hold. Still holding, drag your rectangle down and to the right. As soon as you release your mouse button, a dialog window for the settings of the rectangle is opened.
Here you can specify or alter the position of the rectangle.
If you select this option, the rectangle is filled with your chosen color
Select this option to brighten the rectangle's surface area (positive values) or to darken it (negative values). Doing this creates a transparent rectangle with a different brightness.
If you select this option, the background will be changed in line with the color selected. You can change all three colors (red, green, blue) independently of each other. Doing this creates a transparent rectangle with a different hue.
You can also choose to frame your rectangle with a one-pixel thick frame in a color of your choice
The rectangles can be filled horizontally or vertically.
Time / time delay
